Today, I want to share with you what I’ve learned growing my own business… and what I wish someone would’ve told me when I was starting out.

Now, something I have to tell you is I’m not just out to have a successful teaching career myself.

I want a worldwide Tantric revolution of love and pleasure.

I know that you have a part to play in that if you are reading this post, and I support you because I believe a rising tide lifts all boats.

The more of us women there are out rocking it…

giving our gifts…

and making great money..

the better!!

So maybe you want to build a smoking hot online business.

Or be a rockstar teacher.

Or have a lucrative coaching career.

Or lead women into greater sensuality and pleasure.

(Or ALL OF THE ABOVE – I hear you, sister!)

…so in that spirit…

Here are 5 of my best tips I can share with you to support you in building your own dreams.

1. Have a massive, inspired vision, but start with one small and achievable piece.

My big vision is to bring the highest quality Tantric teachings as a lifestyle practice to the world at large.

But I started with a focus on being fully orgasmic and sexually connected as a woman.

Starting with a small vision has helped massively in making the larger vision a reality.

You may be getting stuck because your soul calling is for something really big – but that can actually stop you in your tracks in the beginning.

Start with one small piece, build a following and master it.

Then your next step becomes even easier.

2. Go for Gold (i.e. charge what your work is worth & go Pro in everything you do.)

Don’t mess around with low prices and under-earning. If you are dedicating your life to your mission, then it has high value.

Just keep valuing the worth of your work and building your business & your money will grow.

Once I charged more – I actually had more clients. And they valued my work more.

3. Early Signs are not always indicative of future success

When I launched my first online program with great effort, I sold, yes, ZERO courses.

That same course went on to sell 1,000 programs the following year.

An early fail doesn’t mean that you won’t go on to succeed.

4. There is no magic secret to success except dedication and consistency

You may be waiting to really go for it until you learn the trick – but here is the thing: There is no trick.

I stayed dedicated to my vision, and I kept creating – rain or shine, when it was hard and when it was easy, when I was inspired and when I wasn’t.

When I would wake up in the early days to ZERO sales and ZERO interest in what I had released, I’d have a good, long, frustrated cry and then I’d get right back to it again.

5. Don’t let ‘sales’, ‘marketing’ and ‘business’ stop you.

A spiritual person who is great at sales and marketing and business is just a spiritual person with more money and opportunity than a spiritual person who isn’t.

Bad sales is about trying to get someone to buy something they don’t really want. Bad marketing is about lying and manipulating people into believing something that isn’t true.

Good sales is just giving real value to people and good marketing is just about loving them.

Business is being smart about your time and resources and intentional about your message and impact.

If you get the hang of that, and you can’t fake it, then the whole process becomes a thing of beauty.

Having the right business structure to support you and the right mentors is ultra important if you really want to be successful.

Part of the reason I’m sharing this with you is because there is an incredible free training happening right now from Marie Forleo to guide you even further into your dreams.

You can check out her first video, “The 6 Pillars,” right here, to make sure you’ve got everything in place that you need to thrive online.

I feel really blessed that I found Marie Forleo and the B-school community early on in my ventures.

When I wondered if “love” could really make me successful at business, Marie was the example that it could.

When I wondered what to do when I didn’t want to get out of bed – having a community around me showed me that I wasn’t doomed to failure for getting a little depressed…in fact it was quite normal.

And, they motivated me to get out of bed and down to the coffee shop to write.

When I met Marie, I actually cried because her support and love in her Vlogs had meant SO much to me when I was just starting out and needed assurance and guidance along the way.

So, last year, I signed up for B-school.

Let’s put it this way, when I first signed up, it was a huge struggle to make sales. After implementing EVERY single aspect of B-school, I was doing six figure launches of my program and my income and my audience increased about 10x.

(My audience also increased in awesomeness ;))

It’s easier to be successful when you’ve got a great business system supporting you.

I can honestly say that if you are looking to create your own online business (or up-level your existing one!) then Marie Forleo is my HIGEST recommended resource.

Her first video is all about 6 pillars of online success and you can watch this outstanding video here.

This will work for you whether you are a coach, yoga teacher, product creator or blogger to get the fundamentals in place to grow.

If you go on to join B-school, I’m going to offer you a really special bonus and wonderful group support for all of the Sexy Revolutionaries who are doing B-school.

(More on that later!)

If you do join B-school, you can bet I’ll be getting compensated for part of your purchase (YAY!).

This is an exciting step for any aspiring successful entrepreneur – I’m really excited to hear more from you about what you are building.

And let me know in the comments below…where you are headed? and what’s your amazing vision for yourself and your business?

With Love,

Layla
